Gerson—Founder of the Gerson Institute and daughter of Max Gerson, M.D., Charlotte Gerson
has dedicated many decades of her life to the continuation of her father’s work. She
co-founded the Gerson Institute in 1978, lecturing and training physicians in the clinical
application of the Gerson Therapy since the death of her father in 1959. She has the most complete
understanding of the theory, background, and practice of the Gerson Therapy from studying with
her father and working in his practice and at his treatment center, as well as training and
providing consultation to physicians at Gerson Institute licensed treatment centers since 1977.
Born in Germany, Charlotte Gerson had her early schooling there. Later, she attended schools
in Vienna and Paris before coming to New York where she finished her high school education.
She subsequently attended Smith College.
Ms. Gerson often visited her father, Dr. Max Gerson's clinic in upstate New York, made many
rounds with him and assisted in many ways. She carefully studied his therapy and its application
to his patients. After her father's death, she continued to publish his last book, A Cancer
Therapy—Results of 50 Cases, and started to lecture on the Gerson Therapy. For the
past 25 years, she has lectured widely all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, as well
as in Europe and Australia. She is well known as a speaker at many of the health conventions
such as:
- The Cancer Control Society
- The National Health Federation
- Modern Manna Health & Healing Crusades
- The Consumer Health Organization of Canada
- and many more private organizations
Also, for the past 25 years, Charlotte Gerson has trained many physicians in the Gerson
Therapy at Mexican Hospitals. Presently, she serves as a private consultant and lecturer.
